Terminal Tractor DriverAs a Terminal Tractor Driver, you will be responsible for moving trailers within the plant, between dairies, and staging areas using a terminal tractor (yard spotter). This position does not require a CDL, but prior experience with yard hostlers or similar equipment is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Operate a terminal tractor to safely move trailers to and from dairies and staging areasPerform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks of equipmentCommunicate with plant and yard staff to coordinate trailer movementsMaintain accurate records of trailer locations and movementsAdhere to all safety protocols and company proceduresWork in varying weather conditions and fast-paced environmentsQualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldValid driver's license (CDL not required)Previous yard hostler/terminal tractor experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to operate equipment safely and efficientlyStrong attention to detail and good communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditionsBenefits:Competitive hourly payHealth insuranceIRA with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for advancement and training
