Job Overview Job: Home Renovation Workshop Instructor Are you a licensed builder interested in teaching homeowners how they can make minor improvements in their home? Job Details We are looking for a home renovation exper t to instruct Saturday Home Renovation Workshops. Workshops will be held every Saturday from 9:30am-12:30pm & 1:30pm-4:30pm. Responsibilities Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in home renovation contractor work and have proficiency in a multitude of areas. Instructors will be asked to help develop the plans for the workshops. Note: candidates do not need to be able to teach all of those topics but can teach any that they feel comfortable with. Workshop Topics Workshop topics will include: rough carpentry finish carpentry introduction to power tools drywall mudding and taping cabinet installation ceramic tile installation and more Qualifications Candidates must be comfortable teaching groups of 10-20 at a time . Instructors should expect students to have little to no prior knowledge in these areas. Job Type Part-time (Saturdays) Pay $30.00 - 35.00 per hour (based on experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr
